When Prospecting keep the end in mind.
With so
many secrets to prospecting where do you begin? Analogies are one
way to look at how we market our business.
We either buy network marketing leads “prospects” from
a company or we generate them through our own advertising.
In prospecting just like in flying, the more
practice we put into the process the more developed and refined
our skills as a network marketer become.
Just like in flying, our prospecting sales
skills never reach absolute perfection. Our marketing skill level
will be proportionate to the recruiting effort and practice we
put into it.
The time we put in developing our phone sales skills
will make us more effective in the recruiting process. We will
recruit more distributors and have more customers do business with
you.
When we setup a flight we have a departure
point and a destination in mind called a flight plan. Our approach
to prospecting should also be done in the same manner.
Each flight
in an aircraft will be different, each prospecting phone call will
also different. They are real people with real needs and desires
if you fail to understand this, your prospecting efforts will suffer.
Having a plan in prospecting is crucial to
our recruiting success, just like a flight plan is to flying. We
must begin with the end in mind which is, to bring in new distributors
and retailing to customers.
Our objective is to market our opportunity,
have the prospects join our business or acquire a new customer
who wants to do business with our companies.
Throughout our network marketing training we are
taught to use a marketing script when contacting prospects, in
flying our training teaches us to use a check list.
In flying the
checklist is inflexible, in prospecting we must be able to change
the order in which we follow our script, yet keep to the objective
of the call, which is to recruit or make a sale.
Each prospect we contact is different, we have
to keep this in mind as we are marketing our business, product
or service to an individual.
Since no two people are the same no two prospecting phone calls will ever be the same. once we understand this and the need to make a personal connection with our prospects.
There really are no marketing secrets, training
is the secret to prospecting and recruiting distributors.
Through proper planning, practice and consistency in your marketing, presenting your personalized solution to your customers will guarantee you
achieve success in your network marketing business.
As you bring new distributors into your business,
implement a marketing / training plan to support them. Make time
to help them understand effective marketing advertising methods,
share your experience, failures and successes. Develop them into
Leaders within your organization and company.
