I Don't Want to be Sold BullS**T, I want REAL Education!
December 30, 2008

Wow was all I could think about when this came the other day on a request for information. Are people really beginning to see the light about what they are being told and sold today?
How often have you bought a course online that promised a solution only to later discover that what you really bought was a good story that did connect with you but left you with the feeling disappointment at what you actually received?
The really interesting point is anyone with enough advertising budget and writing skills, whether they wrote it or not can publish an e-book complete with testimonials and facts that may or may not be real.
The question is how do you know?
Network marketing can be easy, with the right thought process and development of skills. Some e-books provide this the majority do not, it really depends on what you’re after, a good story or something tangible that you can put to use right away.
Just because the story relates to you and makes you feel good, does not mean that it’s really going to help you at all. Continually the same old crap comes out with a new name, new website, and yet is there any excuse when the same old results happen.
Quite possibly what is even worse is when shady marketers, scrape material from others, and publish as their own material! This really stands out when you analyze it and come to the realization that the individual really had no idea of what they where talking about.
Should you seek out real education in marketing?
It would make a real difference in both your network marketing business and your personal life as well. I’ve been training with a company called Leaders Club for years, I’ve learned a lot and continue to do so.
Just before Christmas, my wife and I stopped in BestBuy to pickup one last gift. While walking around, I stumbled upon the Apple booth that was setup inside the store. I stopped and looked at the new Macbook Air laptop, when another individual walked up next to me.
The individual asked me what I thought about the computers, since he was a windows user. Now this is where I thought I’m going to have a little fun and close a sale for the salesperson.
I spent the next 20 minutes, demonstrating how easy it was to use and the differences between XP and Leopard the operating systems. I explained the differences when it comes to software and the prices between both operating systems.
To make a long story short, he purchased both an Imac and Laptop! Has I walked away the salesman told the customer that the commission for the sale really should be mine! When you put into practice the things that really good training can provide you can make a sale anywhere, even in your network marketing business!
