This year has been tough for everyone, hundreds of thousands have lost their jobs; many have lost their homes. Yet ten’s of thousands have started a network marketing business!
At the start of the 2008, the outlook on the economy did not look so bleak. As the year progressed, thanks to the constant bombardment of the media about how bad everything was, it became a self-fulfilling prophecy!
2008 is rapidly coming to a close, what a year it has been! In the beginning of they year it seemed everyone was in denial when it came to the economy or where they? This year really brought to light who is really in charge of this economy, and that is you and I. The more doom and gloom that was spread by the media telling us just how bad everything is, turned it into a self-fullfiling prophecy.
This is a question, I often wondered over the course of the years while talking to many individuals. Many of them got involved in network marketing for all the wrong reasons!
In the end, many of them ended up being MLM – Network Marketing Junkies looking for the next great opportunity rather then focusing on building a business “their business.”

With this in mind, I began to think about the future of pay raises that companies will be paying to it’s employees. Several years back, the president of the company I worked for flew into town for the annual meeting.
In his speech at the recent forum on Social Security, President Bush stated that “If you are 20 years old, in your mid-20′s and beginning to work, I want you to think about a Social Security system that will be flat bust, bankrupt, unless the United States Congress has got the willingness to act now.”
He also warned of a potentially “bankrupt” system in a radio address last month referring to demographic changes that signal a looming danger.
