When I first looked into network marketing, I was intrigued by the idea of sales. Yet, when I started and began to ask the questions to my upline, what training do we have on selling our products, the answer was.
Don’t worry about sales, just recruit people into your downline and get them on the product. That’s all you have to do to become successful! This statement led me on a search to find that information.
Through my search it led to a shift in my perception of many network marketing companies, their pay plans, products, and services.
My search had me gravitating towards companies where I was paid for gathering customers. This brought a much greater satisfaction to me.
Finally, I was in control of my destination, my income level, without having to worry about the results of my downline.
Far to many network marketing companies, overprice their product so they can pay out incredible levels of income.
When you compare these products and services to what is out there in the local market, you simply cannot compete!
Unless all your customers are also your representatives. Is this anyway to run your business?
Today most of the material out there is on prospecting and recruiting. Even my site has many pages written on that subject, these very same skills are necessary to, identifying, qualifying, and presenting your product or services to your potential customers.
Network marketing companies give us the opportunity to change our lives, but only if we are willing to get out their and do the necessary work.
Take an honest look at your own business. How many customers have you placed into your business in the last week, month, or year?
If you’ve not brought any customers in maybe it’s time to rethink your position. Do you really have a legitimate business? It’s something to think about.
