Staying Within Your Marketing Budget

Is it important in you network marketing business to stay within a budget? Unlike most governments we cannot just write more money when we need it, so yes it is very important.

Financial planning and management is a critical element in both your personal life, and crucial to the survival of your business. Today we are bombarded with the fact that we are in a recession.

This very thought is so prevalent that by its very nature is continuing to feed and make this more of a reality then it really should be. Take a look at gas prices they continue to rise yet here is an article in Business week that portrays a very different picture “There is No Gas Shortage.”

Even when times seem bleak there is a world of opportunity in my previous post I wrote about how during times of recession historically home based network marketing businesses actually grew. When Times Are Tough Network Marketing Flourishes.

So why is it that we as network marketers tend to pull back on the things that could actually cause our business to grow and shift those finances towards things that provide short term creature comforts?

This is a time you should be working smarter, not harder in building your business. One thing that is clear is you will not learn everything by reading a book etc… it really requires working from a focused plan. Something reasonable that will keep you within your marketing budget.

Marketing on the web falls into that category, yet you can be pulled into tools and systems that completely drain your financial resources. I’ve written pages about low cost resources and will continue to write more along with video’s that will show you exactly how you can accomplish this.

Yet it is still important to know that, marketing on the web alone will not do it for you. Prospecting skills are essential to this success whether they are online or offline marketing methods.

I’ve worked with many people who want to play the blame game, whether that be uplines or companies, I’ve even played that myself in the past but when it really comes down to it, we are in control of our financial future.

So you have a choice to make you can decrease your marketing budget and watch your business fail or you can look for opportunities with a different pair of sunglasses on.

Glenn, I couldn’t agree with you more and I admire you for just coming right out with it.

It’s time we stopped focusing on what we’re being told about the economy anyway — and start creating our own destiny!

Network marketing programs can be the best way for any individual to take control of their own lives. Especially, for instance, the ones that truly adhere to the ideals Robert Kiyosaki shares in his book, “The Business School for People Who Like Helping People”.

In these uncertain time, I’m thrilled that I’ve recently found such a company. I’m currently putting together my plan — along the same lines you’ve discussed here on your great site!
