Are You Tracking Your
Network Marketing Business Results.
Over the course of many years, I’ve had this discussion with many of the people I worked with about filling out what seemed like useless tracking reports.
While these reports may have seemed useless to us, to someone they where vital information used to track progress and processes.
If the system is broke how do you know?
So how does this apply to us as Network Marketers.
If and when you decide one day that you need a coach, more then likely they will require you to track your actions within your business.
When tracking our prospecting calls, I.E. number of dials to completed calls, number of appointments setup to number of sales completed, it will give us insight into areas that we need to improve upon.
This could be in the areas of:
- Prospecting / Cold Calls.
- Approach / Involvement of the prospect / customer.
- Overcoming Objections.
Without tracking, we just don’t know where to focus our training on for improvement.
When we move into building our own web sites and implementing our own marketing through Pay Per Click, Advertisements both online and offline, without tracking our results how can we tell if our marketing is effective?
For example, tracking ads we run on one of the major search engines, we need to track our click through ratios.
At the same time we need to track the conversion ratio for our product or service that we are marketing. If we have high click through ratio’s but no sales then essentially we are throwing our marketing dollars away.
Believe me the major advertisers do not care about your conversions. They do care about the number of click through’s your ad generates.
