How has your experience been using the 3 foot rule with your products and services? Probably not what you’ve expected.
A few days ago a good friend and I where having a discussion about this very topic. We both knew of people that had tremendous success retailing their products to their local market. Others have had virtually no success at all including myself, especially when it came to the business opportunity side.
Was it the approach that was used? Probably, we are not all born with great sales skills, although the skills can be acquired.
When this time of the year comes around we make new promises for the coming year. We will work our business more consistently and finally get organized in our business.
Each year most of us keep these promises for only a very short time, sometimes only a few weeks. Becoming an effective network marketer requires discipline, involving consistent action year round.
One of the most important lessons I learned early on, was to stay consistent in building my business whether that be contacting new prospects, following up with customers, working on my web sites etc…
Two thousand seven has seen a major shift in Network Marketing. Everywhere, you look we now see more people advertising how to do it then individuals actually offering opportunities.
What is really amazing is all the negative ads out there. If you where to believe these headlines network marketing is doomed. The only way you’re going to succeed is if you have inside information that only they possess. Free secret reports abound everywhere. So whom and what do you really want to believe?
