There Is A Path To Success In Network Marketing Yet…

…Most of the individuals in network marketing will not take it. I know when I started I didn’t. I followed just about anything that sounded good.

To put it bluntly, I was following training advice from people that seemed to know what they where doing.

It wasn’t until I really began to focus did I understand what was going on. A couple of years ago there where headlines that read:

The Death Of Network Marketing

At that time It surely appeared as nothing more than another lead generation system. Yet, over the past two years I have to believe it has migrated more towards the truth.

Prior to the meteoric rise of the internet and the marketing that came with it, life and building a business was much simpler.

With it being simpler it gave us more time to focus on what was important, not only in our personal lives but also in the way in which we built a business.

One of the chief complaints of any individual is never having enough time! Followed by, not having enough money to start or market a business.

Today so many people involved in network marketing really do have an identity crisis going on…

…They don’t know whether they are an affiliate marketer or network marketing. Mainly because, like I was in the beginning following the wrong training!

There is a path to network marketing success, the hard part is knowing which path to take. It begins with a close evaluation of the network marketing training that you are getting, is it balanced.

I couldn’t agree more…According to experts, 3 out of 4 network marketers will fail in the year 2010 if they don’t start implementing 2 specific techniques. These techniques will increase recruiting by 250% and retention by 400% and at the same time, reduce the time you spend on your business. The 2 Techniques; #1 Own a fully duplicatable marketing center and #2 Feed your marketing center via the internet. To your success, Mark Ferris.

I have a question for you. Well maybe a couple. I just recently started understanding what to do to market on the internet successfully. There are so many systems out there. How do I know what is good and what is crap.

Do all these network marketing gurus like: Johnathan Budd or mike dillard really disclose all of their secrects in their training, or do they keep it to themselves? Are their any systems out there That really disclose everything one needs to learn to be a success?

Also it seems like the real money on the internet is in producing your own training/marketing materials or system so to speak, and then market the hell out of it via all internet techniques. Is this the way to go? Can I still make money with mlm opportunities like ambit, monavie, arbon or is making a system the way to go?

Also it seems like all these people market the same things and have the same stories…I used to be broke but with my system bla blah. With this being said how can I possible compete?

One more question this one is stupid: Is it still possible to make as much money on the internet currently as it was five years ago? and can one still become a seven figure earner?

    Help me I am lost!!

Good topic Glenn. We did a study last year on social media and specifically YouTube – the people listed above have taught various “tricks” for getting traffic and there have been a whole lot that followed.

YouTube was supposed to be this “no brainer” way to connect with a ton of people. But what over 99% have found was that in 2 years they might have 50 views. Those “views” are probably mostly their own! And those people wanting to follow or “be friends” have their own agenda – they want to recruit you not be recruited!

The problem and the example about how these so-called guru’s don’t give you everything is that when it comes to network marketing the rules are different. You can’t go head to head competing with everyone else because you WILL lose!

Our own tests show that 95% of views for network marketing related video’s don’t come from YouTube but from the embedded player on our own sites. Non network marketing video can get views from YouTube, but then those are informational (about a product) or entertaining.

By not telling you the “whole truth” these guys end up being the biggest liars.

Unfortunately I could not allow your links, they violated the Rules on commenting…

    No affiliate sites.

This makes point #1 mute: Own a fully duplicatable marketing center.

Every network marketing company provides that and even more will sell you a system. But, to be successful just read the disclaimers.

    Well Hello Johnnyfive,

Glad you’re picking valuable information up.

    Hello again Johnnyfive,

When you talk about a system, are you referring to a lead generation system? There is a difference between actual training and a system that most people want to sell you. The problem I’ve always had with systems, is that you become just one of the crowd. You lose your individuality, even when you upload your photo or video into the system.

When you look at any system for it to work, it has to be focused on a target market. Most systems target other network marketers because that is the target market for the creator of the system.

Do they really disclose all of their secrets? That’s a good question to ask, everyone is competing against everyone else in network marketing. If you found something that worked, some secret would you share it? You’ll find through out the internet where others copy, borrow, steal other peoples material.

When it comes to the internet, things change and they do it quickly. The first rush was PPC; advertising on Craig’s list, years ago it was so easy. Then they changed the rules, and it became more difficult, if not impossible, and expensive as well.

Real money is producing your own training/marketing materials! Exactly what many have done and failed miserably at it. While a few where successful, with the new FTC rules in place I believe it would be next to impossible to duplicate. If your going to exaggerate the truth now it could cost you far more in the long run.

Can you still make money with a multi-level marketing company? Yes, and many still do! Those that understand marketing is more than just the internet, they maintain a balanced approach to marketing.

Ah, you’ve noticed most of the stories are the same, I was a waiter, I slept in a car etc… until I found this secret that exploded my business. Interesting how most are not in a MLM company, or they only where for a short while. Now they are information marketers.

How do you compete? One has to decide do I want to be an information marketer or a network marketer, there is a difference. Here is a ling to a great article on it. “What is the difference between Network Marketing, Direct Marketing, Multilevel Marketing and Affiliate Marketing?” How can one compete? By being a better marketer, one who is not as concerned with “ME” but “US”

Your last question, is it still possible? Anything is possible in life; it will always depend on your drive and ambition. Will we chase fads, because everyone else is doing it, or will we implement them alongside methods that have proven to work consistently?

Wow, this could have been an entire blog post, but is a great follow on to “A path to success in network marketing.”
